Where are you located?
Southern born and bred- based in Columbus, Ga., a cultural arts center and home to AFLAC, TSYS, and the longest urban white watercourse in the world. Personal deliveries are available to Columbus residents.
How should I take care of my Ida Joe's Classic Bow?
While some fabrics may be washable, we recommend dry clean only.
Do you make your bowties?
Yes! Our bowties are handmade by us! We shop for and buy the fabrics, then construct the ties with care. We do all of the cutting, sewing, assembly and will lovingly take extra care with your custom requests.
Are your bow ties pre-tied or self-tie?
No clip-ons but self-tie, adjustable ties here. Our ties are dying to have you put your special brand of elegance or quirkiness to them. If you haven’t experienced the thrill and skill of tying your own perfectly conventional or decidedly quirky tie, then you’ve missed one of life’s most satisfying experiences.
What fabrics are used in making your ties?
Our standard bow ties are handmade of silk, linen, cotton, or polyester blends. Some special ties are in wool and imported silk or designer fabrics.
What style ties do you have?
The Butterfly and Diamond Point are certainly the classic-est and we are delighted that they are favorites. Look for our line to expand in the future.
What sizes are your bow ties?
Our bowties are adjustable and fit sizes 13-3/4 inches to size 20 inches.
PURCHASING
Can I have my order sent directly to someone as a gift?
We are happy to gift wrap your tie and send it to an individual you designate. We will also handwrite a personal gift message to the recipient. Just give us the details and we’ll take care of the rest!
Can I change or cancel an order that I have placed?
Unless your order is a custom order, you may change or cancel your order. If applicable, a refund will be processed. Custom orders valued over $100 will require a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the project cost. Once you have confirmed your custom order, your deposit will be forfeited should you choose to cancel it.
When will my order ship?
Orders are generally shipped within three business days. You will be notified if for some reason that timeline cannot be met.
How long will it take to receive my order?
Because our bow ties are custom made with the utmost care, delivery times may vary depending on the material, stock, and quantity; however, you may typically expect delivery between 7-10 days. We offer expedited design and shipping for an additional cost. If you find that you would like to have your order expedited please inquire through our contact page before ordering. Because service is important to us, we do want to make sure we can promptly fulfill your order.
